I haven’t done an episode commentary in awhile, and I decided to now, just because I could and I feel like Hetalia deserves more watching from me anyways. and it’s short enough that I can do a couple of episodes to catch up commenting season 1 all up.

This episode completely blew my mind. Utterly. I love the courage the series showed, though, fearlessly making fun of absolutely everyone. There is but one word anyone needs to know where this episode is concerned: “PAAASTAAA!” Also… Heir Schtick. And the adorableness of Chibitalia.

This is the point where I started to really connect to this series. The silliness became apparent and the goofiness of Italy really becomes apparent. or more apparent. He’s wonderfully over the top and I adore him. In Chibitalia Holy Rome is a jerk. Poor weak little Italy, getting kicked around by everyone else.
