I have a thing for Simcity. I have for most of my life. Since I’ve been working my way through a huge pile of work and doing unconscionable things like missing posts, I thought creating a region that I could use to story tell within Simcity (2013) would be a great plan!
So, I’ve created Kitsu’s Zoo.
We’re going to start work on Impala City, today.
The first challenge… How to deal with the hills in this region. I’m not sure that I like the fact that there’s going to be an intersection so close to the highway offshoot… But lets start building!
It can be terrible, can it?
There. That should improve the situation and provide big paths to split the traffic. Plus eventually I can refurbish the area down by the entrance to be… something more useful than what I’m actually going to do with it. I think that Impala City is going to try and take advantage of the rich ore deposits that are up the hill.
Lovely, isn’t it? The people are starting to move in. We’ll be dropping in wells and other infrastructure, soon. The sewer outlet is going to up the hill, and the well will be down in that residential district. There will be commercial going in soon, too.
Isn’t the infrastructure lovely? And the city is up and running. City Hall is installed, there’s a wind plant up on the hill, the sewer outlet is in as good a place as you can put one. The city has water… Now it’s just time to see how well things pan out for the rest o the day!
The sun has set on our first day in Impala City! What a lovely place.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring the first signs of industry and jobs for these friendly people folk who’ve moved in and set up house down in the valley.
